Declan, I finally got an opportunity to see you live performing your own songs. It's been way too long since Rent! And I'm definitley not lying when I say I had an incredible time and your voice gives off a completely different feeling live than it does on your tracks. Of course, in a good way.
I really hope Joe's Pub isn't the first and last time I'll be seeing you. Got my sunscreen and sunglasses, I'll hopefully be seeing you at Six Flags soon! =)

Declan, you truly inspired me when I saw you in RENT two times. The third time I saw RENT there was an understudy for you there and I was tearing haha (sounds pathetic, I know). I'd love to see you perform sometime in New York. I wanted to come to your performance on June 30th at Joe's Pub but sadly I'm not old enough to go into a bar! ha. I was in New York to see RENT on March 29th and you were amazing. We brought my sixteen year old to celebrate her "Sweet Sixteen" birthday and she chose to see RENT. Afterwords she was able to get a picture with you "Roger" and "Mark." It was the highlight of her trip. You really do have an amazing voice.

I saw Rent for the sixth time on March 13. By far, you are the best Roger I have ever seen. I have enjoyed watching the varying interpretations of Roger over the years. Your Roger seemed angrier but more genuine at the same time. Very believable! Thank you for your dedication to the show. I have since bought 10 Nelson Road from iTunes. I fall asleep listing to Lessons in Love every night. I'm just sad that I won't be in London when your album is released in a couple weeks. Best of wishes with your album.

I've been trying to think of what to write for a while now. Tried to find the words to describe how and what you made me feel Thursday and Saturday night.
Maybe I should just say thank you. Thank you for reminding me why I love the theater and acting. This is what it's all about. You shine when you're on stage. The real deal. So honest and vulnerable. You brought me to tears countless times and that is quite a feat, I have to tell you.
You have the most mesmerizing voice I have heard in a long time. I just remember going 'Wow..' when I heard you.
Hopefully I'll be able to see you in concert at one point. I just missed you Sunday night in NYC, as I was on a plane home to Seattle. But I'm originally from Denmark, so when I get back maybe I can catch one of your UK shows.
So thank you. Thank you for 2 wonderful shows and thank you for reminding me of why theater and music is important to me.

I'd never heard of you four hours ago, but I already consider myself a fan. I just got back from seeing you as Roger (Friday 10/12) and your performance blew me away. Rent has been a part of my life for years; I've seen the show on Broadway multiple times, watched the movie a lot as well, and listened to the cast recording countless times. The funny thing is, I never cared much about Roger's character . . . until i saw your interpretation of him tonight. First of all, your singing was spot on; his struggle and pain was visible in every word that came out. (I also appreciate that you weren't just doing an impression of the role's originator, like a certain co-star of yours.
. . .) Most importantly, though, you made Roger not just angry and sad but passionate and deep as well; for the first time i was able to see the tender bit in Roger's center beyond the hard shell, and I ended up feeling for him more than any other character. It gave him infinitely more depth in my mind, and in turn made the whole show that much more powerful and emotionally resonant for me. I've already purchased your two CDs on iTunes, and I'm thrilled to day that I see the same genuine and multi-layered emotional depth in them as well. So thank you, and best of luck in the future. I'm sure I'll see and hear much more of you.

Still loving you had painters ball since you first released it and its still up there in my ipod I never bore of you and 10 nelson road gave me goose bumps in the car last week! thank you and at the moment you feel like my dirty little secret and I love how personal your shows are make sure when your huge you remember the ones that have supported you from the start as its not long now and the rest of the world will catch on!!!!! love x

I saw you in RENT and loved you completley!! I fell in love with your voice and went on youtube and searched you...I bought your cd from iTunes and now i'm obsessed with it!! Your amazingly talented. When i'm in the UK this summer i'm going to see you live!!
